100K pesos wedding budget: DIY Photo Gallery

This is our own version of Photo Gallery. Isn't it nice?

Got this idea from pinterest and made my own version. I asked my Tito to make a large frame with holes on the side. He also provided me the strings.

We bought the wooden clips at tabora for P100 (50pcs) and the papemelrotti wedding quotes is something that I got from a friends wedding back in 2007 I guess. ^_^ I printed some of my favorite picture during the e-session (P80). ..and here you go!

This frame is for rent. ^_^ for P200

100k pesos wedding budget: Wedding Dress

Originally I wanted to wear something like this... But ofcourse I can't hahhaha. so I just find other ways to at least get the feel of it.

so here it is my champaigne colored  wedding dress.

considering the budget and the time it would be practical for us to buy ready made - that's the idea.
but because of my size.  nothing fits. ( **Sigh ) we have to pay for extra and have are dress tailored.

Found my dress in divisoria along Tabora. It cost us P6000 including the long back gown and accessories.
Thanks to my tita who made some alteration to hide some parts (armpit) that I don't want to be exposed.

The sleeves and the bag cost me P200.

for my groom. The whole set cost P5,500

I'm so happy that we are able to find the dress that we want without spending much.

Tips:

The trip to divisoria is very challenging for us .. If it is possible leave early around 3pm. and also make sure to check if the accessories are complete.

DIY wedding Invitation for 100K wedding budget

Since we wanted a movie themed wedding. I decided to create a movie poster type of invitation. Tadaaaaa.
 ^__^
Layout Front

This is our  only chance to be a star on our own movie wedding. and I so love the outcome.
This is the first time that we make use of our pre nup photos.

Layout for entourage and map

It actually took us time to finalize the list of entourage that's why invitation were only sent 3 weeks before the wedding. Maps were provided in Largos Gardens facebook so it is easy for me to tweek it a bit.  Thanks to mr. google for the inspiration. and to all the people who help me proof read to make sure everything written is correct.

The Front Cover cost 10 pesos ( photo paper and print ) and the 7 pesos ( paper and print ) plus ribbon and gift card. and estimate of  P22 per invitation. Around 60 Copies were printed.

Tips: The material is very important. Try to create a sample first before buying in bulk. Stick to your wedding colors. Proof read ten times of more before printing it. Remember your invitation will give the first impression of what to look out for in your wedding so make a statement (w0w factor baga..hehhe).

1000 pesos budget Wedding: Our Pre Nup Pictures

Concept came from hubby. He would like us to came up with pictures in a movie house and dining since we both love going out on movies and eating. But I personally would like to have a nature themed photoshoot so that I can bring my Korean Bike. We borrowed the teddy bear from my boss that I think would be a great addition to props. and so here what we came up with. We have so much fun with the shoot. To save us money we did not buy new clothes for this shoot. We just brought few and choose what will match. I got my HMUA for free since we set this day as our make up testing. The only cost that we spend for this shoot is the transportation fees and our bill at Max Restaurant for our Dinner. (Php 900) So here you go the rest of our prenup pics.

Wedding Thoughts from the Bride.. ahemm that's me

Time really flies so fast.. I'ts been a week already since we exchange our vows. Our wedding is one unforgettable event of my life. I still can feel the jitters. Everything seem so happy and wonderful in that day ~ though its not perfect but it is still beautiful. ^_^

Planning and Budgeting
We only have 2 months to prepare for this wedding with a 100 thousand pesos budget for 150 guest equals Cramming to the max. and major major stress but still its the most challenging and enjoyable part of the wedding.... and Im kinda get use to it. At times I felt like I'm the ony one worrying on the stuff that needed to be done. Hubby is always around but ideas and organizing part comes mostly from me. So much dramas (well specially on PMS days). Im still thankful to all people who have help me along the way. To my parents, friends, officemates, and churchmates. whom litterally some I abused. Their time and talent are so precious and priceless without them the wedding would not be a success.

In Search for Suppliers
Hubby and I make sure that every week we will be able to finalize our suppliers. Countless visits and phonecalls to make sure that they met our budget without sacrifizing the quality.

DIY
This wedding is DIY heavy.. It saves us money and kinda my thing. I'ts more personilize and it something that you can be proud of.

Lessons..

Bride may be so into wedding prep but never forget the very reason why you are having this wedding. Crap the wedding details. Just enjoy the journey and what really matters most is that You will be at last united to your one true love. Ayii

People will dissapoint you. just get over it. During the last part of the preparations some things did not go well as planned. Some committed to do this and do that ~ but didn't show up or just given a portion of what they really promised. What to do? were just asking favors so dissapointing but just get over it. "Usad na!"

Invest on the Organizer Team, Photo and Video, and Food.

God provides so cheer up.

My idea of Our Special Day

Yes, It's all starts with  dream. It may almost took me 30 years before It came true but It was all because God this perfectly in His Time.

I would love this wedding to be Rustic, Intimate, Fun and Blessed.

You may refer to the following weddings that I find online so you can picture it in your mind.

ANDY and NEV Wedding

I totally fall in Love with this wedding. The Rustic feel of it. DIY's. Well K and Cunanan is superb in terms of set up and all. But as much as wanted budget does not permit to have them part of special day. .. I'm not loosing hope..there must be a way...Aja to the hands-on Bride and My second me Michelle and whoevers out there that GOD will send to be part of my Artistic Team.

I also Love the Bridal Gown. Simple yet Elegant.
Im not comfortable wearing a tube or a dress that may expose my armpit. Its a blessing that my TITA is a skilled dressmaker and I know she can totally nail it.

I have  here other weddings that inspires me a lot.

AMANDY AND ZACHARY

Ours may not be outdoor but I would like to have that relax atmosphere.

How did we plan a Budget Wedding in a Limited Time

The Challenge. Originally we planned our wedding day to happen 9 to 10 months after he propose so that we will have enough time to prepare and save money along the way but because he wanted to have his family present on our wedding day, we decided to do it within two months with only 50k budget only in hand and lots and lots of faith. This is gonna be a busy day! ayayay. (Take note I'm working night shift *:* ) The Good stress is here.

After Brainstorming,(ipon plus yung mga bonus na dadating plus, plus, plus..) we are decided to work on P100k Budget  for 150 guest.(finger crossed) Its ganna be DIY heavy wedding..

The Basics-  This is it.. so where to begin?? Let's start with the Basics. What we need for  a wedding is a Bride, a Groom, Officiating Pastor, the place and food and of course gusto ko ng souvenir so Photo and Video.

The Venue. We both wanted to have Christian wedding but since our church don't own a building yet we have to search for a ceremony and reception venue. Good thing one of the venue that we visited still have vacancy for one Saturday, December 7. The owner is very accommodating and the payment scheme is very flexible. The confirmation was only made through phone and they only require us 1,000 pesos as reservation. We can do staggered payments as long as we will pay it full a week before the event. The also have rooms where we can do our prep. Good deal right! :)

Supplier: Largo's Nature Garden and D' Chef Catering

Owner: Arlene Largo
Contact no. 655-9174,8068448, 9258670, 09273080404
Address: #130 Atis st. Summergreen 1 Village , 1900 Cainta, Rizal
Total Fee: P54,750
(includes 2 large room with A/C for prep, The Venue for the whole day, catering, doves, and wine for toasting)

The catch:

The venue itself is not a/c but since our wedding will be in DEC it would not be a problem.

Officiating Pastor. We immediately informed our church our intent to marry and good thing our senior Pastor is available on the said date and time (Buti na lang!) We also schedule our counseling so just imagine how hectic our schedule was.

Pastor Fee: Love Gift

Our Pastor while leading us on a prayer during the ceremony
Documents.  Since this is  a budget wedding we skip the part of ordering our CENOMAR and BIRTH CERTIFICATE online. We actually did save a lot of money by going directly to NSO. The said documents are needed in filling our Marriage Licence. Good thing seminars are free in our towns municipality.

2 Cenomar and 2 copies each of Birth Cert: P950

1 Marriage Licence: P450

Photo and Video. We already have someone in mind, Genuine Photography, owned by a friend. They are new in the business and considered amature in this field but I really would like to work with someone I already knew. I think they did a good job, but I would suggest if you have enough money you could invest on Professionals. We paid P5000 upon booking and P2000 as soon as we received the CDs. After a week we already have it . Kudos on that.

Photo (Raw and Edited) and Video Package (RAW) : P7000

Must haves & Can do w/o Done with the Basics. So lets move on to the must haves and wants to make your wedding beautiful naman.

List of Entourage and Draft List of GuestWe have to cut our guest list and It's really giving us a hard time to decide whom to remove in your list. Since we are limiting our guest to 150 so we decided to closest family relatives and few friends. And from the list of  we chose our entourage. We informed them right a away and advised them of the dress code.- Formal syempre.

The inside layout of our invitation

The Engagement Session. I was surprised that  bf(now hubby)  was very cooperative in our photo shoot. We have fun while doing the shoot kahit wala pa kong tulog. e-Session is not included in our P&V package so we have to do it ourselves. By the help of our talented friend Michelle and his boyfriend were able to come up with lovely engagement pictures for P900 only. For full story click here.

My favorite picture in our engagement shoot

Entourage Dress, Suits and Accessories.  My wedding  gown and his suit were bought in Tabora same with his parents dress. We asked men to wear coat and tie. To my advantage my Tita ( Auntie) is a dressmaker so she sew her own dress as well as my Uncles coat. She also designed and made my Bridesmaid dress with a minimal fee of  P500 each. She also made my little boys outfit (Nakalibre lang Yey!) We just bought orange necktie for the Groomsmen.. (yun lang talaga sinagot namin hehe). For my flower girls they were bought ready made by their mothers basta nerequire ko na orange.

Wedding Gown plus Accessories-veil, second veil, ring pillow, aras pillow, chord, bag, garter, headdress (P6000) kindly double check to make sure its complete.

Complete set of Groom's Suit (P5,500)

Other Accessories

Shoes (P400) Bought in 168 Divisoria
Necklace and other jewelry (P180)fancy lang hehe. Bought also in Tabora.
Grooms watch, Belt, and shoes and socks (P6000)- It's ok to invest on this things anyways he still using it even after the wedding.
Banner ( Free)- This is one of my work of art (*_*) made out from scrap fabrics & machine embroided by my neighbor for free.

My Wedding shoes

Ceremony and Reception Accessories

Wedding Ring (P2,300) -  We got a two toned ring that we bought in Ongpin. Super tawad para makamura. We did not spend much on our ring for practical reason. Pwede naman diba! My Name engraved in his ring and vise versa.

2 medium sized candle and 1 big Candle - (P60) We just decorate it with a red ribbon
Bread (P20) and Wine (Free c/o Caterer)
DIY guestbook materials (P50)
10 orange Balloons-(P5 each) to be used for garter toss
Photo Gallery.(P80 for picture only)

Flowers-  it would really be nice to be surrounded with flowers to complete the Garden feel ( I wish!) even if we cant afford that Im still happy with the venue design (Achieve ang Orange and Red motif!). We needed to order additional flowers for aisle and the candle holder and that cost me around (P2500) for all the flowers including my bouquet, entourage bouquet and boutonniere.

My Lovely bouquet
Stationaries-  I made our Invitations and Thank you cards. Heres the layouts of the front cover. I wanted it to be unique- Nothing like I've seen in the other weddings. I felt like movie star.( wink wink ) We needed 60pcs of this times P22 per invitation.

Invitation and Thank You Card Layout

Cake- We ordered our cake at EdRons and we are glad we did. Who would thought that its not a a fondant cake ^_^. It's beautifully done and Trust me it taste good. We got lovely two layer cake for P2,500 only.

Cake Cutting Ceremony

The Program - It took us one month to finalize the program ( because that's the only time that we have) I thank my bridesmaids for helping me out on this one. We made this as an excuse for our sleepover and food trips. ( If you have extra cash it would be best to hire event organiser to help you)

Many thanks to our host,  Ely (my boss) and Mike (friend) ..who did it for free as their gift.. yey.

II. Dove Release
Ely: The bride and groom will now do the dove release. May I request the newlyweds to please come forward and each get a dove.

The two doves signify Sherwin and Sam being released to start a new journey together. Like the two pairs of dove, whatever happens they will always try to seek the comfort of each other and their home together. This is where they know that they will find love A dove always choose one mate for life, and signify love, faithfulness, joy, and hope.
Sherwin and Sam are now ready so we will now release the doves. At the count of three release the doves. Ready when you are. One... Two... Three... and... off they go!!! That was really beautiful.

III. Dinner/Pictorial
Mike: And now may we call on the mother of our groom Josephine Torralba to lead the prayer of thanksgiving.
The newlyweds would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone personally for your presence.  As your table is called, please approach Sherwin and Sam to have your picture taken.  Right after that you can now proceed and line up at the buffet counter to have your dinner.
Everyone, dinner is served.
[pictorial with the guest]

IV. SONG AND AVP
Ely: We know that so much has already happened in one day and we still have the entire evening ahead of us. And nothing less can be expected from the warm and excellent services of Largo’s Nature Garden. Enjoy the afternoon, ladies and gentlemen as we listen to good music while enjoying the sumptuous dinner.

Now, may I direct your focus on a little flashback presentation here, prepared by Michelle Barquillo a dear friend of the Bride and Groom.

V. WISHES AND CHAMPAGNE TOAST
Mike: A celebration is never complete without a toast and a bottle of good wine.  While the wine is being served and poured, let us hear from the well-wishers who have been a significant part of the lives of the couple, who love them and wish the best for them.  Starting off with: Pastor Elmer Esrael and Clarita Sta.Ana.
Best Man waits for everyone to stand up and see to it that everyone has raised their glasses and says:  (something like) Here’s to good health, happiness, good luck and prosperity to Sherwin and Sam! Cheers!
Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen.  You may now be seated.

VI. CAKE CUTTING
Ely: Okay.  So are you guys done with the main course?  Ready to go for dessert?  By all means, help yourself.
Speaking of dessert, it’s now time for the traditional Cake Cutting by the Bride and Groom Sherwin ,Sam  , can you guys join me here..
Bakit, may ganitong eksena pag may kasal? Well, ayon sa aking research, the cake cutting symbolizes the couple's unity, their shared future, and their life together as one.
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen.

VII. TOSSING OF GARTER AND BOUQUET
Mike: Instead of the traditional way of tossing of the garter, we have something different. May I ask our team assistants to proceed to distribute balloons to all the single bachelors. The single bachelors should pop the balloon. There is one balloon that contains a note and whoever gets that balloon is our lucky bachelor.

Ely: Ladies, please stay within the area as we now moving on to the tossing of the bouquet. This tradition has been done over the years and is meant that whoever catches the bouquet would have luck and protection. Nowadays, it has simply evolved to imply that whoever caught the bouquet would be lucky and would be wed next. But now, the Bride will simply distribute roses to the single ladies and whoever receives the rose with a lucky note would be the lucky winner of the bouquet.

Picture taking with Bachelor and Lucky Lady
May we request the chosen bachelor and the lucky lady to pose for a picture with Groom ____ and Bride _______.

VIII. Shoe Game
Questions will be provided by the coordinator.
IX Giving of Messages
Mike: May we call on the Bride’s Maid of Honor Miss Sharon Rose Cleofas to give message to our newlyweds.
And also the Groom’s brother, Mr. CJ Torralba, may we hear few words for our lovely couple here.

X Tribute to Parents
Ely: It is said that our parents are our first teachers, raising us patiently from childhood to adulthood.  They have been our source of comfort, support and inspiration.
Sherwin and Sam  are truly blessed with such wonderful set of parents, and I’m quite sure when it comes to knowing what marriage is all about, They always have a word or two to share to their children.  We would like to call on the Mother of the Groom, Mrs. Josephine Torralba for a few words of wisdom.
And next, the Mother of the Bride, Mrs. Guillerma Resurreccion, to give a message.
May we also call on our Bride’s Guardian, her tita, Erlinda Deocariza.
Thank you for those heartwarming and inspiring messages.

XI Dance
(Music plays in the background, and the newlyweds invite their father/mother to dance)
Father/daughter and Mother/son dance

First Dance
For tonight marks the beginning of their new life together. From this day forward they shall be one, and on this joyful beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their First Dance. The First Dance is symbolic of the consummation of their wedding vows. This Dance is the wedding couples' first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. As the saying goes, “It takes two to tango.” Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my privilege to present to you Mr&Mrs Sherwin and Sam  Torralba with their First Dance.
Thank you Sherwin and Sam  , Let us once again give them a big round of applause

XII. CLOSING SPEECH
FROM THE COUPLE (for each other & for the guests)
Now, our newlyweds would like to share some thoughts to all of you who are here today. We now turn you over to Groom and Bride.

FROM THE HOSTS
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for coming here today and sharing this momentous occasion with Groom and Bride. We do hope that all of you had a great time. This is ____ and ____ signing off. Again, thanks for coming.  God bless, and enjoy the rest of the night.

Selfish act: Busted

Ever since the proposal was made. I already go gaga on the wedding stuff. Well I'm the bride can't blame me. This is the time of my Life. So high with the toughts and feelings that I forgot to do the right thing. Mastering on what I so called "urgent" but uneccessary in nature and Minoring on what is important. I am totally ashamed right now of what I did & until it is not yet been corrected I will empty my cover and profile pic and restrain myself from bridezilla duties. I easily accepted the fact that I'ts ok not to inform my family and go on with the planning. and I really cannot keep my mouth shut. ~ that were trouble came. I cannot go on with this anymore with this guilty feeling in my mind. This is wrong and totally disrespectful. And starting with this kind of attitude is really not appopriate. This should be resolved ASAP. I'm just hoping and praying that everything would turn out ok.

BOSES is now going mainstream on July 31 at SM Cinemas Nationwide

Ariel and Onyok: Scene from Boses

Pelikulang may puso at may mensahe.

5D/4N HONGKONG-MACAU EXPERIENCE: day3

5D/4N Hongkong-Macau Tour:Day3
june 22-26

Monday is Disneyland Day!

No, No, ang pumunta ng weekends sa mga Theme Park kung ayaw mong maimbyerna sa haba ng pila.

Okay Fine..

Ayan go. go. go  na

Isang Maulan na Morning! pero nothing can stop us.

Fierce Fierce din pag may time. Paki ba nila di naman nila kami kilala.hehe

5D/4N HONGKONG-MACAU EXPERIENCE: day2

5D/4N Hongkong-Macau Tour:Day2
june 22-26

Good Morning Sunday! Dress day for us.

2nd Day Itenerary would be The Peak pero daanan daw muna namin ninang ni Thet sa may Nan Lian Garden.

Yap.. May baon kami. we just forgot the coffee. bummer.

We took the Train to Diamond Hill. (fyi mas mura ang call kaysa text)That's a reflief sa feeling lost mode.

Convinient way of Transpo talaga.

Forgot to mention Libre pala ang meal na to care of Ninang jocel.

5D/4N HONGKONG-MACAU EXPERIENCE: day1

5D/4N Hongkong-Macau Tour: Day1
june 22-26

Just came back from 5D/4N Hongkong-Macau Tour. wheew.... Ang sakit sa ulo pero masaya..

Tour eto ng apat na girlalu na stable na sa career at their late 20's. Single. and ready to explore. Ako lang first timer dahil last year nagpunta na sila ng Singapore.Sharon(jpmorg),Thet(bpi),Ethel(accenture),and me Sam(pcm).

They are Lots of Happy Moments and few bad ones na pwede naman icharge to experience. Ganun talaga eh. I'ts my first time to go out of the country, blessing lang talaga dahil naayos yung passport ko. Hmm san ko ba sisimulan.. Skip na lang natin yung preparation part..

Since 5am ang departure namin we decided na magsleepover na lang sa apartment sa pasig. Super early ng gising by 3am we're all set na. Yung iba samin ala pang tulog. Taxi na lang kami para convinient. Terminal 3.

After 2 hours HK aiport na kami. 7:15am. Windy ang peg. paglabas namin eh maulan ulan. Sinalubong kami ng mga taga immigration and same docs ipakita mo lang. Medjo nakakalito kc malaki yung airport.

Bumili kami Octopus card worth HK$150 need daw namin yon for transpo.

In our Case kailangan namin pumunta sa Tsim sha tsui station, I think pang 13th bus stop yon. pagsakay mo pa lang iswipe mo na ung Octopus card.

So ano na... San na ba tayo.. Golden Crown Hotel pano ba tayo pumunta don.. Based sa Address sa Right side kami maghahanap pero ayon napunta kami sa Avenue of Stars..hmm dead end na to.. sa kabilang side pala dapat.. baliktad pala magbilang dito. haist. abala hehehe ..arte.

Jackpot kami sa Hotel na napili namin. Highly recommended. Filipina yung tagalinis at winner talaga. Napakasarap matulog. Di lang nmin ma found out kung pano papalakihin ang screen nung TV pag nanonood kami movie. pero carrybells na yon.

Zzzzz Sleeping Beauty muna. >_<

Around 4pm naglibot kami sa Avenue of Stars at Hongkong Museum of Arts. Sobrang lapit lang sa hotel namin. Ang ganda. Sakto pa may Dragon Boat event. Ang Daming Tao.. Akala ko united nations day... Damang dama mo ang pagiging City of the World...

Wierd noh? maybe because of the fish. anyways.. ang daming gulay..

That was our first day.

BB Cream Craze

Im not into make up.. Well sometimes if I'm in the mood.

I was checking the last year winner in Nuffnang Blog awards and this pretty pink blogger caught my attention.  Xiaxue. I really like her skin but she's completely honest about herself. And shes not hiding her imperfections. In this video shes using a garnier BB cream to achieve her camera flawless face. ..and before I go gaga with that product ..hmm   :(  Sad thing that we dont have it in here as in not available... moving on there are other brands of  BB cream available. so  ini mini mini mo.

1.  Ginvera Green Tea Nude cover BB Cream (P343)

I found good reviews but they sounds like paid ads. and most of them are western.. so I thinks Its not that applicable for me. But Im still considering it because of the value. For the price of P343 you'll get 25ml tube and 3ml sachet. Claiming would not be that difficult  as well since its near my workplace.

HIV?? Ano Daw?? Eww Scary..

Sinong may HIV?...VIRUS yan diba.. Nakakahawa!! Wag tayong makipagusap dyan. Mamatay na yan.. Marumi kasing tao yan.. Bakla yan..

Mali.

Are You Ready to take the Test? Handa ka ba?

Hindi eto issue kung high risk kayo.. ( gets nyo?)
